...At SLX Church is to emulate salt's preserving nature by focusing on soul winning, raising healthy families, empowering our youth, and training up strong disciples. We aim to infuse hearts with the Holy Spirit's power, activating spiritual gifts, and empowering individuals through the preaching of the gospel, prayer, worship and faith. Through these endeavors, we are committed to preserving generations and empowering lives, spreading God's love and transforming communities for His glory.
OUR
LEADERSHIP
Pastors Emi and Erik Clanton, the dedicated leaders of SLX Church, are a dynamic duo in love with God and
each other, sharing a genuine love for God's people. Married for 12 years and raising a healthy and happy
legacy of four children, they have faithfully pastored SLX Church for nearly eight years. With a deep passion
for the presence of God, fervent prayer, the Word, and fostering a God-centered community, Pastors Emi and
Erik are committed to seeing North Atlanta transformed through discipleship and the power of the gospel.
They believe wholeheartedly in God's plan for this church to be a beacon of hope and faith, salt and light, in the community.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
SLX Church is a non-denominational, Spirit-led New Testament church that believes in the full finished works
of Jesus and follows the doctrine of the Apostles. This means we adhere to key biblical principles such as
water baptism (Matthew 28:19), baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38), spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:4-11),
impartation and healing by laying on of hands (Mark 16:17-18), and the casting out of devils (Mark 16:17). We
are committed to living out the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles, fostering a vibrant, faith-filled community
grounded in the transformative power of the Holy Spirit.
